SPANISH & ADVENTURE
DAY 1
Quito – Arrive to Cuyabeno Reserve:
Travel by bus (night before, approximately 8 hours to the bridge of Cuyabeno). Then by canoe along the Cuyabeno River (approximately 3 hours), our bilingual guides, will explain about the flora and wildlife of the reserve. Arrival at Canangueno Lodge for lunch, relaxing time, and then upstream we will visit the Laguna Grande to observe a beautiful sunset and at night, in the way back to the lodge, we will observe alligators. Dinner and rest.
DAY 2
Spanish Lessons – Cuyabeno: After breakfast, we will have 4 fours of Intensive Spanish Lessons, where we will learn vocabulary and practice basic conversation with the teachers.
After Lunch we’ll take a trip by paddle canoe down the Cuyabeno River taking us through the dense jungle landscape. We’ll observe the wildlife as fresh water dolphins and much more. After dinner, exciting night walking to look for nocturnal animals.
DAY 3
Spanish Lessons – Cuyabeno:
After breakfast, we will have 4 fours of Intensive Spanish Lessons, where we will learn vocabulary and practice basic conversation with the teachers.
After lunch, we will sail along the river Cuyabeno, appreciating the majesty of nature, among them, we will have the opportunity to observe pink dolphins, great variety of species of birds, monkeys, until we reach the Laguna Grande, to take a tour around the macrowolves in search of anacondas.
DAY 4
Spanish Lessons – Cuyabeno:
After breakfast, we will have 4 fours of Intensive Spanish Lessons, where we will learn vocabulary and practice basic conversation with the teachers.
After lunch , we will enjoy a two-hour walk in the primary forest, where we will have direct contact with variety of species such as frogs, toads, ants, spiders, insects, etc. As well as variety of flora, such as orchids, heliconias, ceibos (the largest tree in the Amazon), fungi, etc. Return to the Lodge to swim in the river and after dinner a night walk. The guide will make a reminder with a small talk of everything observed on the tour.
DAY 5
Cuyabeno – Quito:
Bird watching at 6:00am on the Cuyabeno River, back to the lodge for breakfast. Back from the Lodge at 9:30am to the Puente (Cuyabeno bridge), take a tourist bus or public bus back to Quito.
